Saha Yoga Cooperative
We are a collective of yoga teachers with a shared sense of purpose and love for this practice. Our mission is to share the joy of being in community, hold space for a deeper understanding of the power of yoga to cultivate and sustain positive change, and to offer an intention of coming back to yourself to find inner transformation and healing.
Why Cooperative
The cooperative model allows us all to share in yoga – as meaningful members of the whole. Students can expect high quality yoga at a reasonable price. Cooperative teachers can expect to share in the success of their classes. All of us grow together with this supportive model.
Why Saha
The word Saha is Sanskrit and has many meanings. Some of our favorites….
Together, Along with, Study together, Accompanied by, Fellow studentship, Company sitting together, Rising together, Companionship, Friend, Harmony
We hope to embody these meanings as we grow together and share in all that this practice entails. We hope you feel welcome to join in this community and find the joy in being together as we practice yoga on and off the mat.
Where we practice
We are honored to host in person yoga classes in Columbus, Indiana. Our Saha Shala (together home) is located at 1250 Jackson Street Columbus, IN 47201.
How we operate
It is our desire to bring yoga to everyone. We operate without preregistration or prepayment. Come when it works for you and you will be welcomed into our space. Pay just before class and sign into our sunny yellow notebook for tracking attendance and you’re all set.
